이용약관

Last updated: 2026-10-28

This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Korean version prevails.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the rights, obligations and responsibilities between the business operating the GLOBALKMOVE service (the "Company") and users in connection with the Korean product purchasing agent service, overseas shipping forwarding service and related services provided on the website globalkmove.com (the "Site").

Article 2 (Definitions)

1. "User" means any person who uses the Company's services under these Terms.

2. "Member" means a User who has registered an account on the Site.

3. "Shipping forwarding (You Buy & Ship)" means the service in which the Company receives and stores products purchased directly by the User at its warehouse in Korea and, at the User's request, packs and ships them to an overseas destination.

4. "Purchasing agent (We Buy & Ship)" means the service in which the Company purchases products from Korean sellers on the User's behalf and supports warehouse receipt, storage, packing and overseas shipping. It includes online purchasing and offline in-store purchasing; offline in-store purchasing is requested through customer support.

5. "Package" means a storage unit registered under an individual management number after warehouse receipt or completion of a requested service. One package may contain several products.

6. "First payment" means payment of the amounts required to proceed with a purchase, such as the product price, domestic shipping cost and agent fee. "Second payment" means payment of the amounts finalized after receipt and packing, such as international shipping and additional service charges.

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)

1. The Company posts these Terms and its business information on the Site so that Users can easily check them.

2. The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable law.

3. When amending the Terms, the Company announces the effective date and reasons at least 7 days before the effective date. Changes that are unfavorable or material to Users are announced at least 30 days in advance and notified individually by email or similar means.

4. Whether amended Terms apply to existing contracts is determined by applicable law and the User's consent. The Company does not unilaterally change transaction conditions already agreed to the User's disadvantage.

Article 4 (Membership Registration and Account Information)

1. A User applies for membership by entering the required information in the registration form and agreeing to these Terms. The Company publishes its Privacy Policy and obtains separate consent where consent to the collection and use of personal data is required.

2. Social sign-up is provided through Google account login. Social sign-up members go through the same agreement process and are asked for the additional information needed to use the service (country, contact details, address).

3. The Company may refuse registration or request verification where another person's name or information is used, material information is false, the applicant is under 14 years of age, or an unlawful purpose or intent to disrupt the service is confirmed.

4. Use of paid services by minors may require the consent of a legal guardian under applicable law, and statutory rights such as cancellation of contracts made without consent are guaranteed.

5. Members must update their information when contact details, delivery addresses or similar information change. Damage caused by outdated information is handled according to each party's degree of fault, and the Company is not exempt from liability for its own fault.

Article 5 (Withdrawal and Restriction of Use)

1. A Member may request withdrawal through customer support or the method provided on the Site.

2. If there are orders in progress, stored products or unsettled amounts, the Company informs the Member of what is needed to process them. Withdrawal does not extinguish refund, compensation or settlement obligations that have already arisen.

3. The Company may restrict use to the extent necessary in cases of identity theft, fraudulent payment, unlawful shipping requests or repeated disruption of operations.

4. When restricting use, the Company in principle explains the reason and how to object. Where urgent security measures are needed, the Company may restrict first and notify afterwards.

5. After withdrawal, personal data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy, and information subject to statutory retention is kept for the prescribed period.

Article 6 (Services and Procedure)

1. Shipping forwarding proceeds in the following order: the User purchases products directly and designates the warehouse as the delivery address → the Company receives the products and notifies the User → the User selects the destination, shipping method and packing options → the Company provides a quote and the User pays and confirms the information → shipment.

2. Online purchasing proceeds in the following order: the User submits the product URL, options and quantity → the Company provides a quote itemizing the product price, domestic shipping cost and agent fee → the User accepts the quote and makes the first payment → purchase and receipt notification → shipping request, payment of international shipping and other charges, and packing → shipment.

3. For offline in-store purchasing, the Company informs the User of the visit schedule, fees, purchase limits and settlement rules for failed purchases before payment. A confirmed booking or visit does not guarantee that the product will be obtained; products that could not be purchased and services not provided are settled under the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

4. Purchasing agent fees follow the pricing information on the Site or the individual quote. The Company does not uniformly charge a fixed percentage of the product price without separate notice.

5. The Company provides verifiable seller information and transaction conditions. If a seller-side defect or wrong delivery occurs, the Company supports the exchange or return process and bears its own liability where it is separately at fault, for example for an incorrect purchase or notice.

6. Additional services such as consolidation, repacking, extra bubble wrap, extended storage and additional photos are provided at the User's request after the scope and fees are explained.

7. The scope of inspection depends on the service requested. Checking the exterior and quantity does not mean authentication, a warranty of function, or detection of defects that cannot be identified without opening the product.

Article 7 (Warehouse Storage and Long-Term Unshipped Products)

1. Each package is stored free of charge for 45 days from the warehouse receipt date. From the 46th day a storage fee of USD 1 per package per day applies, calculated separately for each package.

2. For a package undergoing packing or item extraction work, the period from the time the Company starts that work until the package is shipped or the work is cancelled (the work period) is excluded from the storage period. Time spent waiting for an estimate or payment after a shipping request is not part of the work period. The free storage period does not restart after the work; the existing storage period continues, minus the excluded days.

3. Cancelling a shipping request alone does not reset the existing storage period.

4. The User must request shipment or other handling within 90 days of the receipt date. A package becomes subject to long-term unshipped handling when either 90 days of unshipped status have passed or the accumulated storage fee exceeds the product value declared by the User, whichever comes first.

5. The Company notifies the registered contact of the storage status, charges incurred, required action and deadline. Return, disposal, donation or sale of long-term unshipped products is carried out through the notices and procedures required by applicable law. Products are not disposed of merely because a period has passed, without the required procedures.

6. Where charges are unpaid, the Company may withhold shipment to the extent permitted by law. If payment is not made within 30 days after notice of the unpaid amount and payment method, the Company may, only where the requirements and procedures of applicable law are met, sell the products to cover the unpaid amount. Any remaining balance after deducting legitimate unpaid charges and handling costs is returned to the User.

7. Products returned for reasons attributable to the User, such as an incorrect address, refusal of delivery or unpaid customs duties, are subject to the same storage rules from the date of return receipt.

8. Products whose member identification or tracking information is unclear may be classified as unidentified cargo, and the Company may request proof of purchase to confirm ownership. Unconfirmed products are not handed over to other members.

Article 8 (Restricted Items and Customs Clearance)

1. Prohibited items such as hazardous materials, flammables and weapons; items requiring prior confirmation such as batteries, liquids, cosmetics, food and medicines; counterfeit or pirated goods; and other items restricted by law or carrier rules may be restricted from purchase, storage or shipping.

2. For items requiring prior confirmation, the User must contact customer support before purchasing. The Company explains the confirmed restrictions and may request necessary documents or transport requirements.

3. Where additional costs arise from false information or violation of notified restrictions, responsibility is determined after verifying the cause and the actual cost. Damage caused by the Company's incorrect notice or handling is not passed on to the User.

4. The Company may refuse unlawful customs requests such as false declarations of item description or value.

Article 9 (Fees and Payment)

1. Service fees follow the pricing information on the Site and the individual quote agreed by the User.

2. Payment is made through the Toss Payments checkout by PayPal or by credit or debit card. For cards, domestic cards and internationally issued cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, UnionPay) are supported. The supported methods and final amount are displayed before payment.

3. Service fees are quoted in USD. PayPal payments are charged in the quoted USD amount. Card payments are charged in Korean won (KRW) converted at the exchange rate applied by the Company at the time of payment, and the converted amount is displayed before payment. Where a fee quoted in KRW (purchasing agent product price and service fee) is paid by PayPal, it is charged in USD converted at the same exchange rate. Refunds are based on the currency and amount actually paid. For internationally issued cards and PayPal, the amount on your statement may differ depending on the card issuer's or PayPal's exchange rate and fees.

4. International shipping charges are finalized based on the actual and volumetric weight after packing and the carrier's and destination country's rate rules. If additional costs arise, the Company explains the reason and amount and obtains the necessary consent.

5. Who bears customs duties, VAT and clearance fees, and whether they are included, is stated in the shipping quote. Where not included, the recipient may be responsible under the rules of the destination country.

Article 10 (Cancellation and Refund)

1. Cancellation and refunds are governed by the separately posted Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

2. The Company informs the User of important transaction conditions such as cancellation restrictions before payment and obtains the necessary consent.

3. The Company does not restrict rights of withdrawal, refund or compensation guaranteed by applicable law solely on the basis of a separate policy or a seller's policy.

Article 11 (Shipment and Delivery)

1. The Company ships after the payment, packing, destination and customs information required for shipment have been confirmed, according to the schedule stated for each order or on the Site.

2. Pre-order products, products arriving in sequence and offline in-store purchases follow separately announced schedules. Where consolidated shipping of several products is requested, shipment may take place after the required products have arrived.

3. If shipment is delayed beyond the scheduled date, the Company explains the reason and the revised schedule.

4. International transit times vary depending on the carrier, destination country and customs conditions. Estimated transit time and the Company's preparation time are stated separately.

5. Damage caused by incorrect delivery information and the cost of returns and reshipment are handled according to each party's fault and applicable law.

Article 12 (Compensation and Liability)

1. Where damage occurs in the course of purchasing, storage or packing due to the Company's intent or negligence, the Company compensates in accordance with applicable law.

2. The amount of product damage is determined based on objective evidence such as proof of purchase and the condition of the product. The Company does not unfairly limit its statutory liability by setting the product value as a uniform ceiling.

3. Incidents during international transport are handled under the carrier's terms, insurance and applicable law, and the Company supports filing the claim and submitting documents. Separate liability of the Company, such as packing negligence, is borne separately.

4. In the event of natural disasters, seller problems, User fault or customs actions, handling is determined after verifying the actual cause, the Company's fault and statutory liability. The occurrence of such an event alone does not automatically exempt the Company from all liability.

5. Liability under applicable law is not unfairly excluded for services provided free of charge.

Article 13 (User Obligations)

Users must not misuse another person's personal data, account or payment method; submit false member, delivery or product information; request transport of prohibited or unlawful items; request false declarations for the purpose of evading customs duties; infringe the rights of the Company or third parties; or engage in fraudulent payment, system attacks or disruption of the service.

Article 14 (Personal Data and Notices)

1. The Company processes the minimum personal data necessary to provide the service in accordance with applicable law.

2. The purposes of processing, items collected, retention periods, provision, outsourcing and overseas transfer, and how to exercise your rights are disclosed in the separate Privacy Policy.

3. The Company may deliver notices about orders, receipt, payment, shipping and storage by email, Site notifications or the contact methods registered by the User. Promotional messages are sent only with the separate consent and under the statutory requirements that apply.

Article 15 (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law)

1. Complaints or disputes may be submitted by email to globalkmove@gmail.com or via WhatsApp at +82 10-7282-9820.

2. The Company reviews the submission and responds within a reasonable period; if handling is delayed, it explains the reason and expected schedule.

3. These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea. Mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to the User under private international law and other applicable law are not excluded.

4. If a dispute is not resolved, it may be settled through the dispute mediation procedures provided by applicable law or in a court of competent jurisdiction.

Addendum

These Terms take effect from the service launch date. (Effective date to be stated once confirmed.)
